Collection: Ghosts in the Glass

Ghosts in the Glass explores Mare Island Naval Shipyard through fractured windows and layered reflections. These images examine how industrial spaces hold memory long after activity has ceased.

Across multiple visits, I photographed abandoned structures where light moves through broken glass and across rusted steel. Cranes, dry docks, and fading interiors appear less as literal subjects and more as quiet witnesses—echoes of a once-working shipyard.

Ultimately, this series is about the emotional resonance of place—how traces of human presence endure even when machinery falls silent. The prints in this collection are all limited editions.
